THEATRE WORKSHOP
WHERE and WHEN?????
In the rehearsal space - Bird Island Theatre Space.
Dates: Feb 12,16,17,19
Time: 6-8PM.
(Those who have band are obviously excused that day.)
Just show up! No need to register. Each day will be different and isn't dependent upon the others.
Information
This workshop gives students the opportunity to:
- Build stronger acting fundamentals
- Practice working with realistic, character-driven material
- Develop listening, intention, and emotional clarity
- Prepare for the next audition. (New info coming soon!)
- Grow confidence in a supportive, low-pressure environment
The skills developed here will support students in future theatre opportunities, both onstage and beyond. No registration required.
Just show up ready to work.
Auditions
AUDITIONS will be BLIND auditions! This is something new to all of you. That maeans that the show is not yet set in stone. It means that we are considering more than one show for the Spring Play and participation numbers will determine the choice.
Choices: "Our Town" and "Leaving Iowa".
After the Workshop, the directors will discuss the numbers and make a determination. Auditions will be Tuesday February 24th 6:30PM-8:30PM no matter which show is chosen!
