THEATRE WORKSHOP
WHAT?
An intensive Theatre Club workshop focused on scene work, character development, and ensemble storytelling using material from the famous play, Leaving Iowa. Students will explore text, relationships, timing, and emotional truth through guided acting exercises and structured scene work.
This is a skills-based workshop designed to strengthen performance technique and confidence and prepare you for the next audition.... which could be only a few days away! Let the directors know you're serious about landing a lead role and being in the next production.... join the workshop!
WHERE?
In the rehearsal space. Date: Feb 9,12,16,19 Time; 6-8PM. Those who have band are obviously excused that day.
WHY?
This workshop gives students the opportunity to:
- Build stronger acting fundamentals
- Practice working with realistic, character-driven material
- Develop listening, intention, and emotional clarity
- Prepare for the next audition. (New info coming soon!)
- Grow confidence in a supportive, low-pressure environment
The skills developed here will support students in future theatre opportunities, both onstage and beyond. No registration required.
